Seasone of Seraph

The new Season of Seraph has recently started, and we want to tell you about all the changes and new features that have been added this season. The new season has added: A new exotic mission Operation Seraph's Shield, for which you can get new exotic weapons; A new season of Heist Battlegrounds Playlist activity has also been added; A new dungeon Spire of the Watcher, which is located on Mars; New changes to the Crucible pvp system; Deep Stone Crypt crafting weapons; Seraphim Season Company.
The new exotic mission Operation Seraph's Shield will send us to a space station, where we must infiltrate it and download a virus before the Salvation House can get important information. Combat encounters, platformers and lots of puzzles await you in this mission! After completing this mission, you will receive the exotic Zero Revision pulse rifle and many catalysts for it.
Upon completing Operation Seraphim Shield, you are guaranteed to receive the exotic Zero Revision pulse rifle. Zero Revision is unique in that you can choose which perks to use and also has multiple catalysts. The weapon has several firing modes and origin properties between which you can switch freely, allowing you to turn it into an aggressive four-shot frame or into a unique two-shot queue with a much longer range. The Exotic Weapon perk accumulates targeting data as you headshot, allowing you to turn the weapon into an aggressive frame sniper rifle for the next 1-4 shots. The more headshots you take before that, the more sniper ammo you get. The rifle is also unique in that it has anti-barrier rounds in both firing modes. Revision Zero catalysts can be obtained by completing the "Should You Choose To Accept" quests in Exo Frame in H.E.L.M. These quests are limited in time and are unlocked as the storyline progresses through the season. Exotic Catalysts and the rest of the Revision Zero perks can be swapped at the crafting table in Enclave, making this exot fully modular. Purchasing a Catalyst allows you to unlock the following abilities:
  • Feeding Frenzy

  • Under Pressure

  • Outlaw

  • Fourth Time's the Charm

New Battlefields: Heist Battlegrounds
Destiny 2: Heist Battlegrounds has a new battleground to play on. Join a team of up to three players, or enter the arena alone and head to one of Braytech's many facilities to fight against the Hive God of War.
There are two ways to get involved in Heist Battlegrounds: take the seasonal More Than A Weapon quest or visit the Heist Battlegrounds playlist.
The seasonal More Than A Weapon quest will take you to a new location each week to complete Heist Battlegrounds. The first week of Heist Battlegrounds takes place on the Moon.
To play the Heist Battlegrounds playlist, you must first collect 500 seraph key codes. Seraphim Key Codes can be earned throughout Seraphim Season by completing the available Heist Battlegrounds or by participating in other Destiny 2 playlists.
Spire of the Watcher, located somewhere deep in the sands of Mars (now the world of the throne of Savatoon) is an ancient, built during the Golden Age, huge bunker tower that the Vexes of the Black Garden are trying to take over. In terms of location building, the tower is divided into an intro, a jump-pazzle, and 3 main stages. Players will have to fight 2 bosses as they progress through the locations.
Rewards
In terms of rewards the dungeon offers the following (note that the equipment will fall only from the chests of the main stages):
  • 2 calling cards - the first one is given for the first passage, the second - for passing alone and without deaths.

  • Into the Sunset - exotic bike. Issued for the passage of the difficulty level Master.

  • TM-Earp Custom (Modified "TM-Earp") - set of armor, made in the style of a cowboy.

  • Seventh Seraph Carbine - submachine gun.

  • Seventh Seraph Officer Revolver - revolver.

  • The Long Arm is a scout rifle. It is important to note that this is the second lever-action rifle, the first being the Dead Man's Story exotics.

  • Liminal Vigil (Border Patrol) is a pistol.

  • Terminus Horizon (End of the Horizon) - machine gun.

  • Widerflight - single-shot grenade launcher.

The last 4 guns have a new source perk - Balanced TEX buttstock: when shooting from the hip it increases the weapon's convenience, when aiming it increases the reloading speed and character's movement.
Also, according to the standard scheme, from the final boss with a certain chance drops a new exotic bow "Hierarchy of Needs", which has 2 unique perks:
Guidance Ring - Each normal or targeted kill of an enemy gives the player 1 ring charge. If you kill the target by shooting at a critical point, gives 2 charges at once due to the fact that both conditions are met. The maximum number of charges is 6.
Apollo Tangent - By collecting 6 charges, fully tensioning the bowstring and firing from the hip to the touch points, you create an energy ring for 30 seconds. Shooting through the ring creates two self-directed projectiles around the arrow, the damage of which, roughly speaking, depends on the distance to the target, the further the target is, the greater it is.

This season the Crucible's pvp system was significantly redesigned and this is what was changed:
  • A new Crucible seal was added, Glorious.

  • Control and Clash have been moved to one Quickplay playlist.

  • Weekly rotations have changed, as many modes are less popular than others.

  • Lord Shax now offers focus engrams like Saint-14 does. Additional focus options will appear in Lightfall.

As for maps, Bungie has confirmed that there will be more: two maps that were previously in the vault, and one brand new one. No word yet on when they will appear.

Iron Banner has become a new mode in Destiny 2 Season 19 and will offer new rewards. This time, the mode will be called "Fortress," in which players capture and hold areas like in "Control." The only difference is that it has a Cabal-related twist that Bungie is keeping secret. Iron Banner will return on January 3, 2023. The rewards in the various pvp modes have also been changed:

Iron Banner:
  • Dark Decider automatic rifle.

  • Gunnora's Axe Shotgun.

  • Forge's Pledge Pulse Rifle

  • Riiswalker Shotgun

The Trial of Osiris:
  • Sublime Truth hand cannon

  • Unwavering Duty Machine Gun

  • Aisha's Embrace Scout Rifle

  • Reed's Regret line fusion rifle

Nightfall:
  • Wendigo GL3 Grenade Launcher (Heavy)

  • Hung Jury SR4 Scout Rifle

  • Silicon Neuroma Sniper Rifle

  • Duty Automatic Rifle

In the new season, Bungie added the ability to craft weapons from the Deep Stone Crypt raid. You also have a chance to knock out a Deepsight version of one of the weapons for each stage you pass. You will also be able to buy a Deepsight version of any weapon from the raid once a week. The good news is that if you're on a weekly raid rotation then you'll be able to dig on any stage of the raid and get the Deepsight version of the weapon you want!

And the final part of our blog will be the new company of the season of seraph, which will take place in the same format as in previous seasons. Season of the Seraph gives players one last chance to prepare for the impending threat of Darkness. By fixing the Warmind Rasputin in the More Than A Weapon questline, humanity can gain another tool to fight its enemies.
